The first NESL High Break Leaderboard of the 2026/27 season brings together the leading breaks recorded across league and tournament competition.
In the Three Player category, A Way currently leads with a break of 43. S Toelkemeier and P Barker are tied on 35, with Richard Breen next on 30. J Sawyer, M Hargreaves and J Plant have all recorded breaks of 25.
In the Four Player category, J Megran currently leads with a break of 26.
The remaining categories are awaiting their first qualifying breaks. The leaderboard will continue to build as more results are reported.
The latest NESL Player Performance Tracker highlights the players making the strongest starts across both leagues.
M Hargreaves leads the way with a perfect six wins from six, while R Sewell remains unbeaten at 4–0 and S Brown has also made a flawless start with three wins from three.
Just behind the unbeaten trio, A Way, M Starr and L Colley have all recorded five wins from six for an impressive 83.3% win rate, with J Manning close behind on 80%.
Among the players with a heavier match schedule, P Saville has six wins from eight frames for a 75% record, while D Rose has seven wins from ten, giving him a 70% success rate.
As the season develops, the tracker should give a useful picture of who is in form, who is climbing the table and which players are maintaining strong results over a larger number of frames.
Dunmow remain top of the 3-Player League, while Saffron Swifts continue to apply pressure in second place. Stansted have moved into the leading group after another strong week and remain unbeaten. In the 4-Player League, Saffron Swallows continue to lead, with Saffron Swifts level on points close behind. The highest break in the 3-Player League currently stands at 43.
The drawsheet for the Last 32 Round of the 2026/27 NESL Handicap Doubles is below. All Last 32 matches are to be played by 6 November 2026.

Dunmow moved into outright first place in the 3-Player League after three matches, edging one point clear of Saffron Swifts. Stansted remained unbeaten and climbed into third, while Stansted Wackers made the biggest move of the week, jumping from eighth to joint fourth after collecting their first win of the season.
There was also a new highest break, with S Toelkemeier setting the early-season benchmark at 35, improving on the previous week’s 30.
In the 4-Player League, Saffron Swifts stayed top, while Takeley Chipmunks moved up to joint second alongside Widdington Warriors. Saffron Swallows also picked up their first win of the campaign, although they remained fourth after three rounds.
The opening weeks of the 2026–27 DMC Leisure North Essex Snooker League season saw a close start in both competitions.
In the 3-Player League, Dunmow and Saffron Swifts shared top spot after two matches, both collecting 8 points with identical records of eight frames won and four lost. Stansted, Stansted Saxons and Whittlesford Flukes were all close behind on 6 points, leaving the early table tightly grouped. Richard Breen recorded the season’s highest break at this stage with a 30.
The 4-Player League was headed by Saffron Swifts on 6 points, with Widdington Warriors just one point behind in second. Takeley Chipmunks occupied third place, with Saffron Swallows fourth after the opening two rounds.
With only two matches played, both leagues were still very much in their early stages and there was plenty of opportunity for the tables to change as the season developed.
Captains – Entries are now open for all tournaments for the new season, the Tournament Entry Form can be found below. Please submit one form per league team.
All tournament entries are free to enter but please can all Captains ensure that their players do wish to enter the various tournaments rather than enter them without their knowledge and then they pull out after the draws have been made.
Please include a contact number for all players being entered and also ensure that your players have read and understand the Tournament Rules.
The dates for the semi-finals and finals will be confirmed prior to the Quarter Finals round of matches being played. Please withdraw from the tournament prior to playing your Quarter Finals round if you are not available for these dates.

It is important that any queries or issues are directed to the correct person. The main day-to-day work is generally undertaken by Simon Chapman, Aaron Gibson, Stuart Turner and Peter Saville whose roles and responsibilities are as follows;
League Secretary – Simon Chapman All matters concerning the general running of the league on a day-to-day basis, any queries concerning league rules and regulations etc.
Fixtures / Results Secretary – Aaron Gibson Any queries in relation to league fixtures, league match results, player registrations and handicaps, cancellation and/or rearranging of league matches. Collation of league results and production of league tables.
Tournament Secretary – Stuart Turner All matters relating to all tournament and competition entries, draw sheets, player contact details and results.
Treasurer / Website Administrator – Peter Saville Any matters in relation to the finances of the league and the administration/content of the league website and social media accounts.
Ahead of the AGM on Tuesday 14 July 2026, the DMC Leisure North Essex Snooker League requires your 2026/27 Team & Player Registration Form to be submitted to us no later than Sunday 12 July 2026.
The online registration form can be completed in a few minutes via the league website or the link below and automatically submits your entry to us. In order to complete it you will need to have a mobile number and email address for each of the players that you wish to register. Registered players will also prior to the start of the new season be added to our WhatsApp Group which many members find a useful way to keep up to date with league results and news.

The Committee of the DMC Leisure North Essex Snooker League hereby give notice that the Annual General Meeting will be held at Stansted Social Club on Tuesday 28 July 2026 at 7.45pm. All registered league members are invited to attend, and all teams that intend to compete next season should send along at least one representative. It is a compulsory requirement that a representative of any NEW teams and clubs attend so their application to join the league can be approved by the membership.
Should any member wish to submit an item for the Agenda or propose either an amendment to an existing league rule or propose a new league rule, these must be received by the League Secretary Simon Chapman no later than 28 days prior to the AGM.

All matches are to be played by 28 February 2026 unless the tournament is at the semi-final stage then specific dates / neutral venues for the matches to be played will apply.
